Ingredients

  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 cup filtered water

Instructions

  • To begin, combine the filtered water and pure maple syrup in a medium saucepan. Whisk the ingredients together to ensure they blend well. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  • Once the syrup is completely dissolved in the water, allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes. This will help thicken the syrup slightly and intensify its flavors.
  • After 5 minutes, remove the pan from heat and let the syrup cool to room temperature.
  • Once cooled, transfer the syrup into a clean container for storage.
  • Store your maple syrup simple syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will keep for up to four weeks, making it a convenient addition to your pantry.
