Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp butter extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the light brown sugar, maple syrup, water, and ground cinnamon over medium heat. Stir occasionally to ensure the sugar dissolves completely and the mixture becomes smooth.
  • Once the sugar is dissolved and the mixture has come to a gentle simmer, remove the pan from heat.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and butter extract, making sure everything is well combined.
  • Let the syrup cool to room temperature, then transfer it to a clean container for easy storage.
  • Store the syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three weeks.

Notes

use 1 tbsp of butter vanilla bakery emulsion in place of vanilla and butter extracts
