Cardamom Simple Syrup

- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup filtered water
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and ground cardamom over medium heat. Stir occasionally to ensure the sugar dissolves completely.
Once the sugar has dissolved and the mixture reaches a gentle simmer, remove the pan from heat.
Allow the syrup to cool to room temperature.
Transfer the syrup to a clean, airtight container and store it in the refrigerator for up to one month.
