Cinnamon Dolce Simple Syrup – A Warm and Sweet Addition to Your Coffee
If you love the cozy, sweet-spiced flavor of a Cinnamon Dolce Latte, this homemade Cinnamon Dolce Syrup is the perfect way to recreate it at home. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make a rich and aromatic syrup that blends beautifully into coffee, lattes, teas, and even cocktails.

This syrup is a coffeehouse favorite that you can easily make in your own kitchen! It’s a perfect balance of warm cinnamon and sweet vanilla, making it a great addition to both hot and iced drinks. Unlike store-bought syrups, this homemade version is free of artificial additives, and you can adjust the sweetness and spice level to your preference.
Tips for the Best Cinnamon Dolce Syrup
- For a stronger cinnamon flavor, steep the cinnamon sticks for a few extra hours before removing them.
- If using ground cinnamon, be sure to whisk it well to prevent clumping.
- This syrup also works great as a sweet drizzle over pancakes, waffles, or oatmeal.
- If you prefer a richer flavor, try using brown sugar instead of white sugar.
Ways to Use Cinnamon Dolce Syrup
- Coffee & Lattes: Stir into hot or iced coffee, cold brew, or espresso-based drinks for a warm, spiced sweetness.
- Tea & Chai Lattes: Add to black tea, chai, or herbal teas for a cozy flavor boost.
- Cocktails & Mocktails: Mix into a spiced old-fashioned, espresso martini, or holiday punch for extra depth.
- Baking & Desserts: Drizzle over ice cream, yogurt, pancakes, or French toast for a delicious touch.
Storage Tips
This syrup will stay fresh for up to two weeks when stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Shake before each use, as natural separation may occur.
I prefer to store my simple syrups in mason jars, and use lids like pour lids from Mason Jar Lifestyle. Alternatively, I also like to use these bottles which are aesthetic!
