Vanilla Simple Syrup

Maria Watkins, LivingPlanetFriendly
using vanilla paste instead of extract allows for a deep and more robust vanilla flavor compared to traditional extract
Course Ingredient

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 1 tbsp vanilla bean paste

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the sugar dissolves completely.

  • Allow the syrup to cool to room temperature, then transfer it to a clean, airtight container.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to one month.
