vanilla bean paste
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the sugar dissolves completely.
Once the sugar is fully dissolved and the liquid turns clear, remove the pan from heat.
Stir in the vanilla bean paste and whisk if needed to fully incorporate it into the syrup.
Allow the syrup to cool to room temperature, then transfer it to a clean, airtight container.
Store in the refrigerator for up to one month.
Notes
vanilla paste can be substituted for 4 tsp vanilla extract
