Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice

Instructions

  • Use a clean measuring spoon to measure each spice into a medium-sized mixing bowl. Make sure your spices are fresh and aromatic for the best results.
  • Whisk all the spices together until they are completely combined. The mixture should be uniform in color and texture.
  • Using a funnel or spoon, pour the spice blend into an airtight spice jar or small mason jar. Store in a cool, dark place like a pantry or spice drawer.
  • Use 1 to 2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice in recipes calling for warm spices, or substitute it anywhere you’d normally use cinnamon for a seasonal twist.
